Happy Independence Day

It is now the 4th of July. Independence Day. Independence from a monarchy. Independence from a king's rule vs. a country of laws. The state of this country's government has gone so far from where it began, it is unrecognizable. And, frankly, it saddens me. With every illegality that has not been held accountable, we are all guilty of collusion.

I was under the belief that once a party had a president in power, that the good of the country outweighed the good of the party. This is the most corrupt government that has been. And sadly, if I don't speak up now, I will be blamed by future generations for letting this continue without opposition. I urge everyone to look into their hearts and remember honor, honesty, integrity, and truth as virtues on this independence day.
